Early Private Departure from Cusco (3:30 AM)

Private pickup from your hotel in a heated executive vehicle. Travel south through the picturesque Vilcanota Valley.

Arrive at our private mountain lodge in Cusipata for a wholesome hot breakfast featuring Andean eggs, fresh bread, hot quinoa porridge, and energizing coca tea.

Trailhead Arrival at Phulawasipata & Hike Ascent

Continue to the trailhead at Phulawasipata (4,600m). Begin the 1.5 to 2-hour guided hike along a gradual incline surrounded by herds of alpacas and snow-capped peaks. (Optional local horse rental available on site).

Summit Arrival at Vinicunca Viewpoint (5,036m)

Reach the iconic summit ridge of Vinicunca with breathtaking 360-degree views of the multicolored slopes and the mighty glaciated peak of Apu Ausangate (6,384m).

Optional Red Valley Lookout & Descent

Explore the dramatic crimson canyon of the Red Valley (Valle Rojo) before descending back to the trailhead.
